PB is an entity known as T’l – beings made up primarily of verteron particles and strange energy. They are space travelers who have developed the ability to manipulate subspace – to subtle or destructive effect. PB boarded the Odyssey on Stardate 50456, seeking refuge from the Borg. PB had been chased by the Borg for a long time and the Odyssey presented sudden safe harbor.

PB’s arrival came with it other problems – meeting the T’l and finding their Hollow, a few close calls with the Borg, and brief concern that PB was purposely leading the Borg around. But Counselor Petra was able to get the being the open up, and learn much from the T’l exile.
