The Rilnar Quorum are purveyors of medical miracles. A green-hued species from a planet with tropical climes, the Rilnar have perfected much of the biological sciences. This includes cellular regeneration, something only seen in the Majalans of the Alpha Quadrant. They were eager to help the Odyssey and the Sikarian fleet, healing their injuries and in some cases, regenerating lost limbs.

There is a dark side to this ability, though. As learned by Commander Sebastian, Rilnar society has bent around this miracle, and most upon the world would readily heal scars and disabilities without a second thought, even using social pressure to encourage others to do so when they did not. While this has not turned to actively forcing participation, Sebastian was quick to point out to the leaders of the planet that a society that demands physical perfection from its members is stepping down a dark path.

The Odyssey left before the Rilnar affected major change, but Sebastian’s words made an impression.
